Fast Cure 4200 Adhesive/Seal - 3M - 06560 (8-06560) has a lot of purposes in terms of bonding any materials. They are for additional objectives besides adhesion, such as sealing agents to reduce the effect of self-loosening induced by dynamic loads, sealing off areas to avoid oxidation and corrosion, waterproofing, and so on. Sealants secure components from electrical and thermal insulators, fire barriers, and smoothing, fileting, and flying products. Because sealant formulations contain considerable volumes of inert filler material for cost reduction and gap-filling objectives, sealant formulations have lesser strength than adhesive formulations. Sealants, such as adhesives, are also for parts assembly, and many adhesives can seal.
