The 3M TM Hookit TM technology allows for easy replacement of our single-sided pads. The solid, light center of our double-sided pad ensures continual surface contact. The Velcro system enhances the life and productivity of eccentric or rotary sanders, buffers, sanders, drills, finish sanders, and other power instruments. The pad has a loop material that catches on the backup pad (sold separately). Our durable, double-sided pads combine high-speed cutting durable wool with fine fibers to provide a smooth, swirl-free finish. It features uniform surface contact, control, and solid, lightweight support in the center for a more aggressive cut without applying additional pressure.
Installation is easy; screw it into an orbital sander or other power tool using a 3M5 / 8-inch thread adapter 5710. We have the right pad for the job no matter what part of the process you work. This product gives excellent results with fast cutting. 3M? Hookit? system can use it in various applications such as hardened paints, fresh and medium finishes, scratch removal, and turbulence removal. All of our pads will boost productivity, speed, and results. Available with velcro or screw fastening on one or both sides.
