12-10 #1/4 NYLON RING TERMINAL -1-220224 these ring terminals are simply designed to fit over a stud and are held in place by a nut to carry electricity. By inserting the exposed end of the wire into the end of the insulation and crimping it in place so that the wire contacts the metal inside, they are connected to any wire of the proper gauge.
Additionally, a second crimp can be applied to the insulation's tip to add another point of contact between the wire insulation and the terminal insulation, strengthening the grip. It is designed to endure the severe conditions of the sea. Insulators made of nylon are simple to crimp and won't split. It provides the highest level of tinned copper corrosion resistance.
