The Air Silencer Gasket is for BRP 3-cylinder 50 hp 75 hp outboards for the 1977-2001 model. This gasket connects the silencer to the carbs and the one that connects to the cover to the silencer. The factors that can slowly break down the air silencer gasket are constant expansion and contraction from temperature changes, coolant and oil contamination, and the constant flow of intake air. This will lead to excessive white smoke from the exhaust, overheating, coolant leak, and poor engine performance.
