RFD Zirconium is an abrasive fibre disc zirconia sanding disc for the mechanical processing of stainless steel and non-ferrous metal. These round grinding wheels with backing are made of vulcanizing fibre coated on one side with resin and abrasive grain. This sanding disc is suitable for stock removal, dusting, descaling, and deburring with 36 and 60 grits. Finer grades can be used for finishing applications on stainless steel materials. It's in conjunction with flexible backing pads on finer grits for finishing applications and ribbed backing pads on coarser grits for stock removal applications with angle grinders.
