Sierra Gimbal Bearing Installation Instructions:

Replace the grease fitting with the accompanying grease flow plug when replacing the gimbal bearing with the permanently lubricated kind.

Remove the grease fitting from the transom housing's side.

Seal the threads of the grease passage plug with sealant.

Install the grease channel stopper with a 1/8" Allen wrench until it is completely sealed.
