The Volt sensitive relay and cable kit 12V cut-off relay automatically connect the second battery or onboard battery for charging with the alternator when traveling in campers, mobile homes, or other travel vehicles. The relay doesn't close until it has measured the voltage when the starter battery is fully charged. Switching to charge the aux battery occurs when the starter battery reaches 13.3 volts?charging the auxiliary battery via alternator while driving?no discharge of the starter battery when stationary.
